Motorsport
The company's motorsport interests are mainly down to Duncan's long term involvement in various disciplines on both two wheels and four. Already a successful grass track rider by the age of fourteen Duncan then tried his hand at speedway competing at Manchester's famous Belle Vue track. He always fancied four wheels more than two however and as soon as he reached seventeen years of age he was rallying a Ford Escort Mk II with no little success. He took a string of class wins at venues such as Flookburgh and Three Sisters and together with Pam (later to become his wife) as co-driver regular mixed crew awards. Next came a spell of banger racing in a Triumph 2000 and a number of outright wins at Carnforth but the rallying lure was still strong and he was soon back on the stages. In 1994 an opportunity came to buy Kev Furber's Peugeot 205 and Duncan was back in the sport he loved winning more and more trophies.
He later acquired the Toyota Supra raced by Barry Sheene, a car he still owns and is currently restoring to it's former glory. Next came a Ford Escort Cosworth in which he claimed his first ever outright win and he's since had more wins at the wheel of his current 'rally weapon' a Subaru Impreza. As Duncan's name has spread amongst the rally community more and more people are turning to him for advice, hence the growth in motorsport business. The company, having already completed the building of a customer spec rally Mini now have a pair of Peugeot 205 rally cars under construction with more in the pipeline. They also provide a pre and post event preparation/repair facilities to a growing number of competitors.
